Anas Benayad is a Moroccan photographer and designer based in Casablanca. His work explores the human essence, fleeting emotions, and moments that often escape the eye. Trained in user experience design, he learned to observe behaviors, details, and interactions, developing a keen sense of visual storytelling that now informs his photography.
His practice begins in black and white—a pure language where light and shadow converse to reveal the unseen. In every portrait or street scene, he captures contrasts, imperfections, and the depth of emotion, transforming each image into a fragment of a story. His approach balances boldness with subtlety: his shots carry weight without heaviness, and his compositions resonate without overwhelming.
For Anas, photography is, above all, a human experience. Every subject holds a hidden truth he seeks to uncover—not through posing or artifices, but through connection, dialogue, and careful observation.
